4) FOREST RESOURCES:
1. Bamboo :
State is having 61 different species of Bamboo. The utilization of Bamboos for commercial purpose besides domestic purpose is new concept for local people. Few Industrial units based on this important and green gold resource are coming up. Areas for investment are in manufacturing such as bamboo tiles, ply board, corrugated sheets, furniture and a host of other utility

5) HYDRO POWER RESOURCES
Current Hydro potential available is 2000 MW from Hydel Schemes. It’s estimated that 50,000 MW of Hydro power will be available in the state by 2015. The State will play a major role in power trading in the World.
6) HANDLOOM & HANDICRAFTS RESOURCES
Arunachal Pradesh is having rich heritage of traditional handloom and handicrafts activities which are associated with the culture of the people. The department is having 81 nos. of craft centres, weaving centres where training is imparted to local youth in different trade. Further, through production centre, utility articles of handloom and handicrafts are made by engaging trained trainees and artisans to meet the local demand and also the demand of other places. There are also 13 nos. of Emporia and 5 nos. of Showrooms functioning through which marketing of handloom and handicrafts products are done there by providing facilities to the local artisans.

The scenic beauty of Arunachal Pradesh and its pleasant climate and its Flora and Founa offers ample scope for tourism development in the State.
